Shannon is the Executive Director of the Mike & Patti Hennessy Foundation.  She is also an intellectual property attorney.  Shannon volunteers with the Pro Bono Partnership where she assists nonprofit organizations in New Jersey with business and transactional legal services.  Additionally, she is an avid patient advocate.  She wrote a children's book entitled Mom's Genes to help families get a conversation started about their own family's health history.  She previously served as an Ambassador for Bright Pink, a nonprofit advocacy organization focused on early detection and prevention of breast and ovarian cancers.  She currently serves on the Young Leadership Council for the Basser Center for BRCA at the Abramson Cancer Center of the University of Pennsylvania.  Shannon resides in New Jersey with her loving husband and three children.
